No, we will not, and we highly recommend you do not allow any web developer to do so. The reality is that professional hosting is best left to hosting companies with trained technical support.
How long will it take to be build my website or app?
This depends entirely upon your needs. If it's a new domain, we normally have a coming soon page up within 24 hours, which includes a form and social links. App development and complex websites can take months, and we do quite a few of those. But, our average launch time for websites is 23 business days. Need a new site up in a week; we can have that conversation.
Can you build a WooCommerce e-commerce website using WordPress?
We do not build anything with WooCommerce ("WC"). WC is a collection of plugins, and plugins sometimes conflict causing sites to go down. With WC, you're responsible for managing your own security, backups, and updates, and most if you want full WC functionality you have to pay for multiple WC plugins. There are much better ways to stand-up an e-commerce website. We also do not work on Wix sites.
How hard is, and can you help with, Amazon, Shopify, Paypal, Stripe, Etsy, forms, etc?
Yes! Those are all very common integrations that we work on routinely as part of our standard contracts.
Do you handle images and video?
Again, this depends on your needs, but we do have paid license accounts with providers of stock imagery, video, vectors, Lottie files, etc, and licenses are in most cases included in our standard contract. Larger or more complex websites and apps require custom imagery, video, and artwork, and in those cases we can help you find a vendor that will treat you fairly and provide us what we need. We're often asked why we cannot handle taking photos and videos, and the answer is simple. We serve customers globally, and if you have a research or manufacturing facility, or a college or university, or want visuals for a fashion show or at your restaurant, it makes more sense to hire someone local to you.
What can I expect my monthly costs to be?
This depends entirely upon the build. Things that influence cost include: 1) Is it web and app, or just web; 2) The type of hosting; 3) forms; 4) Shopify and Shopify internal apps; 5) are you drop shipping; 6) are you collecting signatures; 7) is your industry heavily regulated, 8) are you providing education or training; or, 9) are you . We can help answer this question BEFORE we contract with you.
Will you handle my social media marketing?
Maybe, but probably not. The reason is for this is that we do not contract out social media management nor marketing. So for us to do this for you, one of our staff must already have the bandwidth, or your needs must justify a new hire. In most cases, it's better to have us work on our end creating content, working on open graph tags and X cards, and have you or your social media person post and arrange for ads.
Are their types of sites or industries you will not work on/in?
Yes. We will not work on political, religious, gaming, nor adult sites.
OK, elephant in the room question, what will your services cost me?
We know you are sick of reading it, but it depends on your needs. We have built custom websites and apps that cost $250k to $3mil. We have also built hundreds of sites that cost $2k to $20k.
